Recently I’ve had several people tell me they are consuming mega amounts of calcium because they want to avoid osteoporosis (bone thinning). In most cases they are taking an excessive amount of calcium and it’s not going into the bones. In order to absorb calcium, you need several conditions. The first one involves pH (acid-base balance). If a person is too alkaline (blood pH), they will not be able to absorb calcium
